Alessandra Arizzi Novelli

- Degree in Biological Sciences, Ecotoxicology curriculum, at the University of L'Aquila.

- Postgraduate in Environmental Sciences, at the University "Ca' Foscari" of Venice.

- Since 2006 at present she works in the Biology and Environmental Toxicology Section of Department of Pescara.

- Since 2014 at present she is Manager of Ecotoxicology Laboratory and quality control responsible in the Biology and Environmental Toxicology Section of Department of Pescara.

- Since 2010 at 2011 she is contract professor in "Bioindicators and ecotoxicology", at the Faculty of Environmentral Biology at the University of L'Aquila.

- Since 2006 at 2008 she is contract professor in "Quality indicators of marine environments", at the Faculty of Environmentral Sciences of Ca' Foscari- University of Venice.

The main research area of interest concerns:

• setting up of ecotoxicological methodologies for marine environment applied on environmental matrices (marine sediment and water);
• ecotoxicological analysis for the characterization of harbour sediments (dredges and coastal reparations);
• microbiological and ecotoxicological analysis of wastewater;
• studies on the evaluation of the effects of new disinfection on the toxicity of wastewater.
